Overview

Expensive speakers usually need lots of power and this only comes with a separate or 'add-on' Power Amplifier. If a manufacturer tried building a super high current, high output integrated amplifier it would be massive and generate so much internal heat that it would affect the delicate components in the pre-amplifier stage. Not good and so no one does it!
