Superior Modern Design: Stax 2G is available with a choice of two types of shelves. Customers can choose between a sleek tempered glass shelf, which is finished in black, or a modern plywood shelf, which is available in a choice of natural or black ash veneers.
Each of the shelves has been chosen for their load strength and inherently positive, acoustic properties, along with their physical design aesthetics – so that whatever electronics or source equipment is placed on them, they'll remain completely rigid.
Bespoke Tools: Quick and simple assembly with unique, cleverly designed tools supplied in the box. To achieve this, the Blok product design team have not only carefully designed in invisible fixings that allow the assembly of Blok shelves to be extremely quick and intuitive, but the very tools themselves have been designed and crafted by them, to ensure the matter of assembly is as enjoyable and satisfying as the final Blok Hi-Fi rack itself.
Levelling Up: Achieving a perfectly level base is vitally important for high-fidelity furniture. Once the Stax 2G hi-fi rack has been fully built and placed in its final position, the intuitive adjustment tool can be positioned over the foot assembly and rotated to increase or decrease the height of the foot. This allows the user to adjust, quickly, easily and with the minimum of effort, Stax 2G so that the entire rack can be made perfectly level. The foot assembly also features spikes and cleverly integrated rubber feet, so that the user can select the most appropriate foot for the flooring they have at home.
Isolation Pads: Silicone isolation pads are integrated between each shelf and into the base of the support. The density of these pads has been scientifically specified to a particular shore hardness by Monitor Audio Group's acoustic engineers and tested over many, many iterations. These carefully selected silicone isolation pads ensure that shelf absorption works at its most optimum, reducing resonances and vibration being carried through the shelves, so that all you'll hear is the high-fidelity sound of your system components.
High Density Inert Filler: Rubber bungs are cleverly concealed within the design of the supports that carry the weight of the shelves and the equipment that sits on them. These small, flush-fitting bungs can be removed to allow the supports to be mass-loaded with high density inert filler such as Atacama Atabites. This reduces resonances in the shelving system, allowing your components to make music unhindered by unwanted vibrations.
