The Marantz Cinema 50 is equally ideal for dedicated theatre space or a multi-use living room. It features 9 x 110 watts of built-in legendary Marantz amplification, six 8K UHD inputs, HEOS® streaming built-in, room correction with Audyssey MultEQ XT32, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced and Auro 3D, plus a wealth of inputs and outputs including pre-amp outs up to 11 channels and four independent subwoofers.

11-Channel Processing, 9-Channel Amplification: 9 channel amplification does not mean you need to stop at max 9 channel speaker configuration. With external 2-channel amplification that can be assigned to either Front, Left, and Right, or a pair of height channels, you can set up an 11-channel speaker configuration such as 7.1.4, allowing you even more flexibility and an engulfing audio experience.
Subwoofer Outputs & Settings: Blanket yourself in evenly distributed, accurate bass. Featuring up to four subwoofer outputs to smooth out low frequencies and provide better dispersion. No audible peaks or dips, just powerful, room filling bass. Tweak your subwoofer settings to your preference when more than two subwoofers are connected. Select "Standard" if you want evenly distributed bass performance. Select "Directional" if you want more directional bass performance seamlessly integrated into the speaker channel closest to each subwoofer in the room.
Pre-Amplifier Mode: Your Marantz AV amplifier can work as a perfect AV preamplifier with the latest HDMI connectivity. Pre-Amplifier Mode provides a cleaner signal path and more tolerance in clipping level by disconnecting internal amplifiers. Add the flexibility to disconnect select speaker channels so that you can use the AV receiver's built-in amplification to driven on-critical channels to get a clearer signal path for the channels driven by external amplification.
Dirac Live Upgradeability: The interaction between your sound system and the physical layout of your room has a huge impact on sound quality. Dirac Live Room Correction (coming soon in 2023) applies state-of-the-art, patented algorithms to analyse and digitally reduce room impact and enhance speaker performance.
