Rotel A10 MK II Stereo Amplifier
The Rotel A10 MKII has had a nice power bump up to 50 Watts per channel and remains an integrated amplifier that will satisfy the audio purist who doesn't require ultra high power output or digital streaming capability. Its straightforward operation is refreshing, and its performance is a pleasure to listen to.
If you are considering taking your first step into a true hi-fi system or are seeking a small, high quality audio system for another living space, you can't do better than the A10 MKII integrated amplifier. The A10 MK II is all about maximum performance for the price. Its design strips away added features that increase the overall cost and can detract from your musical enjoyment.
Simple to operate and a pleasure to listen to, the A10 MK II has connectivity for all your listening sources including a CD input, a MM phono input in case your taste runs to classic LPs, a Tuner input to listen to your favourite radio stations and an Aux input for other analogue source devices.
The A10 MKII is a full featured, high performance component. All aspects of the design have been optimized to retain the full dynamic range and subtle nuances of your music. The unit has a highly regulated power supply incorporating a Rotel custom-designed toroidal power transformer. This low impedance power supply has ample power reserves, which enables the unit to easily reproduce the most demanding audio signals. This type of design is more expensive to manufacture, but it is better for the music.
The printed circuit boards (PCB) are designed with Symmetrical Circuit Traces. This ensures that the precise timing of the music is maintained and faithfully recreated. The circuitry uses metal film resistors and polystyrene or polypropylene capacitors in important signal paths. All aspects of this design have been examined to ensure the most faithful music reproduction.
The main functions of the A10 MKII are easy to install and use. If you have experience with other stereo systems, you shouldn't find anything perplexing. Simply plug in your associated components of choice and enjoy.
About Rotel
One of the most revered names in audio, Rotel is still privately-owned by the original family that founded it in 1961. No small feat in this day and age. Also extremely rare in this industry, the Rotel headquarters house all aspects of the brand in one place from the CEO through to the marketing team, production-line technicians and warehousing.
The Rotel company is well-known as a family run business in the most fundamental definition of the phrase. Fostering a collaborative environment where everyone's ideas are heard and the entire company can work seamlessly under one roof as a cohesive team. Using zero outsourcing, each and every Rotel amplifier and component is hand assembled and stress-tested in-house by a small, dedicated team of skilled technicians.
With this wonderful heritage it's really no wonder Rotel components are so great to use and listen to. And we're not the only ones to think so as Rotel products have received hundreds of international awards and made lots of customers very happy all around the world.
"Since our beginning in 1961, Rotel has continually invested in product and technological innovations" says Peter Kao, Managing Director of Rotel and part of the 3rd Generation of the company's original founding family.
