Configurable: As you build your home entertainment space, it's important that your theatre seating fits your room well. RowOne "Carmel" won't disappoint with many different configurable arrangements from single chairs right through to larger 5-seat models. Choose from either straight formations which are ideal for smaller spaces or curved formations with their unique wedge design for dedicated cinema rooms or media rooms. Leather Options: RowOne theatre chairs also offer the best of both comfort and style. As standard, RowOne seats use 100% 'Top Grain' Leather for all parts of the seat except the non-wearing sides and back which are Split Leather where the important tactile feeling is not really required. Why? All leather hides have to be split because in original form a hide is simply too thick to use for upholstering furniture or use in any type of manufacturing. So, the hide goes into a machine where a blade 'splits' the hide into two layers. The top portion of the above process is known as Top Grain Leather and the bottom layer is known as Split Leather which rather than be wasted is used where it is mostly not seen or exposed to heavy usage.
The Online Leather dictionary states in part: "In the lower price segment of leather furniture, better leather (Top Grain) is processed for the contact surfaces (backs, seats, armrests) and, for the rest (outsides, back of the furniture), coated split imitation leather is used." However, if you want 100% Top Grain leather 'all-over' then this can be arranged. Naturally there is a cost variation and this depends on the quantity of chairs being ordered. We will be happy to quote.
Colours: In addition to Black, there are five other colours available to special order - Berry, Blue, Brown, Red and Gray. The image carousel has a slide with samples of these colours. Call us to check prices and availability.
