The Sonos Beam (Gen 2) utilises a multi-speaker array to harmonise both low and high frequencies. The Beam (Gen 2) houses a single tweeter for crisp and clear dialogue, four elliptical mid-woofers for faithful midrange and rich midbass, plus three passive radiators for well-balanced and powerful bass sound. Five Class-D digital amplifiers are perfectly tuned to match the Beam (Gen 2)'s drivers and the acoustic architecture of the passive radiator enclosure. Thanks to discrete Class-D amplifier technology, you get clear and dynamic sound at even high volume levels with minimum distortion. But there's a lot more to Beam Gen 2!
