The CWM362 features B&W's 25mm (1") soft dome tweeter for clarity combined with smoothness. For the bass and midrange it sports a 152mm (6") polypropylene cone bass/midrange driver with dynamic low frequency extension down to 50Hz. The incredibly easy to install frame includes QuickDogs™ and plug-and-play functionality.
Most in-wall speakers are not designed for high humidity environments such as a shower room or indoor swimming pool, which are unsuited to some of the advanced materials B&W have employed. The CWM362 has been specifically designed to cope with these more demanding environments, so whereas their cost effectiveness may lead them to being described as entry level, they also provide a point of entry to areas of the home that were previously off-limits for high-quality installation loudspeakers.
