The DB4S is a 254mm (10") sealed subwoofer based on the technology of its bigger brother dual driver designs (DB1D, DB2D, & DB3D models). The DB4S shares its drive unit technology, amplification, and preamp section with the dual-driver DB2D. It has a single 254mm (10") Carbon Aerofoil driver in a forward-firing configuration powered by a 1000 Watt Hypex Class D amplifier and a digital preamp section with Dynamic EQ. It offers an App-based configuration system which is very handy for those wanting to fine tune the performance of their subs using their smartphone or tablet.

Technology
The 700 Series is an entirely new range of speakers. Compared with the outgoing CM Series, every transducer has changed and radically improved. To do this, Bowers & Wilkins have borrowed some of the most advanced technologies from their flagship 800 Series Diamond, adapting them to suit a more attainable price point. And they've introduced entirely new technologies, designed specifically for this range.
Aerofoil Cone:The DB4S' Aerofoil Profile driver features a ground breaking cone design that has the same variable thickness design as used in Bowers Wilkins flagship 800 Series Diamond speakers. Developed using advanced computer modelling techniques, it provides stiffness and rigidity where it's needed most, for deep and dynamic bass. Powerful Amplification: Thanks to the amazing 1000 Watt Class D Hypex amplifier doing all the heavy lifting, the DB4S delivers all the precision, control and authority you could ask for.
