The straight tone arm and aluminium diecast turntable platter ensure quality playback and have been formed in a slim, textually attractive design. The tonearm features adjustable balance and anti-skating controls for proper tracking. And its sturdy base minimises the vibrations that can compromise sound quality.
Cabinet: The Denon DP-300F's 4mm-thick cabinet wall that offers both strength and high density has been beautifully finished with a gloss coating. With a body width of just 434mm, it combines very elegantly with full-size system components.
Automatic Playback With Manual Control: Fully automatic operation makes the DP-300F easy to use. When the 300mm (12") or 170mm (7") record size is selected and with the press of a button, the tone arm automatically swings over and begins playing your record, returning to its original position when finished. The manual lifter mechanism lets you accurately place the stylus on the record wherever you want to without scratching.
Switchable Phono Preamp: DP-300F features a in-built phono preamp that lets you connect the turntable to an ordinary auxiliary input on your receiver or stereo amplifier. But if your receiver has a dedicated phono input, and you'd prefer to use it, you can easily switch off the DP300F's preamp.
Cartridge Choice: A basic Denon MM Cartridge is factory fitted. However, the all new tonearm has a removable headshell making cartridge replacement or upgrading simple. The standard mount headshell allows virtually any cartridge between 5 ~ 10 grams to be mounted and balanced. Fine adjustments can also be made for anti-skating and zero balance, so good conditions for playing a record can be achieved.
And for solid, dependable playback, the DP-300F has been precision manufactured with rigid diecast aluminium for perfectly stable turntable rotation.
