Eltax was founded by Ingemann Marius Nielsen in Herning in 1959 as a wholesale dealer to the Hi-Fi industry. In the early 60's when the introduction of Hi-Fi stereo created a bigger demand for speakers, Eltax was one of first Danish companies to make stand-alone speakers.

Our Take On The Eltax Monitor III BT
At the price, the Eltax Monitor III BT Powered Speakers have almost every base covered in a very attractive package that comes in either black or white to match your décor. They accept a Bluetooth signal from your smartphone, tablet or laptop as well as offering a wealth of physical connections as well. These include a switchable stereo RCA analogue input which can either accommodate a line level source like a CD player or can be switched to MM so you can plug in a turntable with a moving magnet cartridge – very convenient. There is also a 3.5 mm stereo input as well as an optical digital and a coaxial digital input. But wait, there's more. There is also a subwoofer output if you need more bass and finally a USB-A charging port to keep all those mobile devices topped up.
But the main reason we chose to stock these speakers is the sound. These things flat out sound great, and when you find out the price, they actually sound incredible. A fully featured great sounding bargain. What a find!
