2-Way Driver Design: The Klipsch RSM-400 loudspeaker utilizes a 2-way driver design that features an 0.75" (20 mm) Tractrix Horn loaded titanium dome tweeter and a 4" (102 mm) polypropylene cone woofer for dynamic, full-range sound.
0.75" Tractrix Horn Loaded Titanium Dome Tweeter: The RSM-400 outdoor speaker has a 0.75" Tractrix Horn loaded titanium dome tweeter for high-frequency clarity and detail. The Tractrix Horns delivers a 90 x 90 degree dispersion pattern for a broader sound-stage.
4" Polypropylene Cone Woofer: The Klipsch outdoor loudspeaker also houses a 4" polypropylene cone woofer for well balanced mid/bass performance outdoors.
ABS Enclosure with Aluminium Grille: The RMS-400 loudspeaker employs a rugged ABS enclosure for high performance outdoor sound. The included aluminium grille is mounted to the speaker cabinet with sets screws to ensure a secure fit regardless of the outdoor environment. The RMS-400 is available in a black or white finish. However, you can paint the enclosure and grille to better match your outdoor space.
Dual 5-Way Binding Post Terminals: The Klipsch RSM-400 outdoor speaker is outfitted with dual 5-way binding post terminals that will accommodate bare wire (up to 12AWG). The binding posts are located on the back of speaker enclosure behind the mounting bracket and are protected by a removable cover. The cover features a rubberized opening for the speaker wire to pass through.
Mounting Options: The Klipsch RSM-400 speaker can be mounted outdoors or indoors using the included bracket system. The mounting bracket system is corrosion resistant powder coated zinc and offers great placement flexibility. It allows you to rotate the speaker almost 180 degrees after it's been mounted, letting you direct the sound to different areas as needed. If the speaker is mounted vertically, the bracket allows it to swivel side to side. If the speaker is mounted horizontally, the bracket allows it to swivel up and down. The speaker's shape and mounting bracket design even makes corner placement easy.
