The All Weather In-Ceiling series has a weatherproof construction for installation in more extreme environments such as bathrooms, beach houses, saunas or even boats. It offers long-term high performance reliability being built with heightened levels of water, dust, corrosion, UV and temperature protection. These speakers feature super-discreet Stainless Steel grilles and are certified against salt spray, UV stability, water, vibration and anti-corrosion. Operating temperature range: -34° to 79° C.
Perfect For The Bathroom, Pool Room, Patio Or Even A Yacht: IP55 certified for use in extreme climate conditions, the AWC280 is resistant to salt spray, UV, water and vibration. Stainless steel trims and non-ferrous magnet are resistant to corrosion and EPDM (synthetic rubber) barriers prevent moisture ingress. From a bathroom to marine deck, this speaker takes all climates in its stride.
Top Quality Sound: Using Monitor Audio's C-CAM gold treble unit and woofer, the AWC280 offers genuine hi-fi sound quality, with an extended frequency response. The C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminium Magnesium) gold treble unit gives an ultra-extended frequency response for a treble response that's smooth, sweet and detailed. The equally precise-sounding C-CAM woofer unit handles mid-range and bass.
Discreet Design: Designed for ceilings, it can also be mounted in a wall for ultimate versatility. It's finished in a neutral dark grey colour with a white grille but can be painted to blend in effortlessly.
