About The NAD T758 V3i Home Theatre Receiver

With the T 758 V3i Home Theatre Receiver, NAD's reputation of developing high performance products with remarkable sound quality is again enhanced. Obviously this has been built-up over many years and can be clearly seen and heard in their latest surround sound wonder. This latest V3i version of the popular NAD T 758 includes Apple Airplay 2 for the first time, which will be great news for Apple fans.

As you'd expect, the NAD T 758 V3i supports all popular surround sound formats including Dolby Atmos, DTS HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio that are decoded using the latest generation of high-speed DSP. Stereo source material can be converted to surround sound using exclusive NAD "EARS" surround mode, praised by reviewers for its natural sound quality. With both music and movies, the T 758's award-winning heritage reveals its power with immense depth, clarity, and incredible detail. Ordinary AV receivers simply sound flat in comparison.

The NAD Audio Difference: However, where NAD really shine is with audio. If you now realise that there is a difference and how your choice can affect both your music and by extension your speakers, then you would do well to examine NAD very closely. Whether it be stereo music or a movie soundtrack, hear how good they can sound via this virtual powerhouse. It is conservatively rated at 110 Watts per channel in stereo mode, but sounds like a lot more, punching out deep bass and superb stereo image for an AV Receiver. Now you may well think this is just a bit of sales hype, but not all manufacturers are just making boxes to keep the factory working. Right from the top at NAD there is a culture of music first, something that has been the philosophy from day one in the 1970s. So, what's the difference?

Full Disclosure Power: NAD uses Full Disclosure Power (FDP) on all their Hi-Fi amplifiers, the most demanding criterion for performance measurement. FDP specifies distortion under the most extreme conditions of low impedance loads and frequency extremes, rather than the simple and easy 1kHz @ 8 Ohms test quoted by some other manufactures, NAD uses this stricter performance criterion because it more closely matches the demands of real music and real loudspeakers. Maintaining specified distortion at 4/8 Ohms and at 20-20kHz is a much more difficult achievement. The benefit of NAD's Full Disclosure Power is the total elimination of audible distortion at any listening level. This provides pinpoint imaging and realism with music and movies alike.

Keep It Simple No Frills Approach: While other AV receivers may offer more features, NAD focus the T 758 V3i on one mission: audio performance. So as you can see from earlier comments, the T 758 V3i AV Receiver is designed to deliver the very best sound and of course picture and from all your audio and video sources. It does this by eliminating signal-degrading and space-eating processing and seldom-used features which has definite appeal to some. So, this is the music lover's AV Receiver and is backed by decades of audiophile expertise thus delivering music and movie soundtracks with clarity and detail that will lift the "veil" off your speakers and reveal their full potential.

Second Zone Living

With seven channels to play with, NAD has made the "surround back" channels reassignable. So if you are content with just five speakers and a subwoofer in your main home theatre room, then you can use the "surround back" channels to power two additional speakers in a second room. Or if you'd like to get better performance from your front speakers, you can use these extra channels to bi-amp your front main speakers - if they have this provision.

Movie And Music Presets: Movies and Music have differing prerequisites. The T 758 V3i makes it easy to switch between a CD and a Blu-ray disc without having to reconfigure all your settings. How does it do this? NAD has created a simple user interface that is incredibly flexible but very easy to use. Each source component has its own customised setup that is memorized and recalled every time it is selected for viewing. In addition, 5 powerful AV Presets allow custom setups for different types of program material that can specify speaker settings and surround modes to your exact taste. Inputs can even be renamed to match your particular components.

NAD App: A beautiful and intuitive user experience offering a fun and simple way to control and configure your NAD AV Receiver. Control, adjust and select basic functions including power, volume, source, and listening mode for all zones with a touch of your iOS device.

Vinyl Lovers Take Note: Most AV Receivers today do not have a built-in phono preamplifier and the NAD T758 V3i is no exception. However, this doesn't mean you cannot enjoy the world of vinyl. Either a record player/turntable with a built-in phono preamplifier or the NAD PP2E and a set of cables will have you in a spin.

MDC - The Most Distinctive Feature: NAD want to embrace the ever-changing world of AV technology without destroying your original investment. So NAD devised the most important innovation in a decade: Modular Design Construction, their uncommon answer to technology obsolescence. Digital audio and video circuits are on replaceable modules. With MDC, the ability to easily upgrade the T 758 V3i to include future digital formats is totally unique and unprecedented. Winner of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award, MDC should be at the top of your checklist.

'Music First' Audio: Popular surround sound formats, including HD formats Dolby Atmos and DTS Master Audio, are decoded using the latest generation of high-speed multi-core DSP. With full support for High Res Audio formats like MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) included in the BluOS Player, the T 758 V3i is unique. Add to this NAD's exclusive PowerDrive amplifier featuring high current combined with high Dynamic Power to bring out the very best in any speaker you may choose for your home theatre. With both music and movies, the T 758 V3i's award-winning heritage reveals its power with immense depth, clarity, and incredible detail. Ordinary AV receivers simply sound flat in comparison.

World's Most Sophisticated Digital Room Correction System: Dirac Live and its powerful room correction software is built in to the T 758 V3i, including its own calibrated measurement microphone. With the ability to upgrade to a full-featured version of Dirac Live, advanced users can build the perfect listening environment that corrects for both the timing and colourations in sound, including the ability to create custom target curves for room response and the option to choose from a variety of third-party calibrated microphones.

BluOS Streaming High Res Audio Included: The T 758 V3i features built-in BluOS wireless streaming technology, letting you stream lossless music to your home theatre system from local libraries, tune in to Internet radio stations, and access popular music streaming services. You can control the music from anywhere in the house using the BluOS Controller app for smartphone, tablet and laptop, including the ability to group other BluOS compatible wireless speakers and music players with the T 758 V3i to fill every room with music.

Master Quality Authenticated: MQA is a revolutionary end-to-end technology built into every BluOS Enabled amplifier to capture and deliver MQA music to your speakers in the purest quality. All BluOS Enabled players and systems include a powerful decoder and audio renderer for the millions of the MQA encoded songs, The MQA logo shown in the BluOS app indicates that the unit is decoding and playing an MQA stream or file, and lets you know that you are hearing exactly what the artist recorded and approved in the studio.
