A Closer Look At The Premier 500C
The Premier 500C is an elegantly proportioned centre channel speaker which cunningly hides the true finesse and scale of its sound reproduction. It is a 4-driver 3-way acoustic suspension design which incorporates a 1" (25mm) X-PAL dome Tweeter with perforated phase-aligning lens combined with a 4" (102mm) black anodized X-Pal carbon-infused polypropylene Midrange, also sporting the unique perforated phase-aligning lens. The lineup is completed by a pair of 5½" (140mm) ART surround carbon-infused polypropylene high performance Bass Drivers. With low frequency extension down to 47Hz the 500C can fill a medium sized room with clear rich vocal energy to complement the 800F & 700F floorstanders or the 200B & 100B stand mount speakers in a quality home theatre system.

Patented Perforated Phase-Aligning (PPA™) Tweeter & Midrange Lens Technology: Distinctive perforated lens in front of the tweeter and midrange drivers increase and smooth output without colouring the sound, while also protecting the drivers from external damage (loud parties excepted).
Patented Active Ridge Technology (ART™) Surrounds: The Premier range features Paradigm's patented Active Ridge Technology (ART) surrounds, made in-house and overmolded directly onto each woofer and midrange cone. This design achieves greater excursion, for a 3dB gain in output and 50% reduction in distortion. Crafted from injection-molded thermoplastic elastomer, ART surrounds are more durable and more reliable, ensuring a lifetime of superior sound.
Crafted in Canada: Premier Series speakers are designed, engineered, and made in Paradigm's state-of-the-art 225,000 ft2 Canadian facility. They chose heavy duty, non-resonant 3/4-inch MDF, with optimally placed interior bracing, and reinforced front baffles to ensure an audio performance beyond any other in this price range. Smooth front baffles, enhanced with 1-inch MDF, reduce diffraction and improve sound radiation characteristics. You can feel the Premier build quality that comes from true handcrafted manufacturing. Beautiful, furniture-grade finishes complete this new standard of performance and value.
Paradigm has also employed tapered-angle cabinet designs in this range that not only reduces back-wave reflections within the cabinet but also improves bass intensity and ensures more accurately dispersed audio reproduction whilst adding to the elegance of the enclosure profile.
Partnered With Canada's National Research Council (NRC): Paradigm is partnered with Canada's world-renowned NRC in ongoing research to reveal the true nature of sound and human hearing. Findings influence design and performance specs, resulting in a uniquely realistic listening experience, backed by sound science and beginning with the Persona Series and now trickling down to the Premier Series.
