The Sonos collection of architectural speakers makes it easy to bring premium sound to every part of your home. Designed and tuned by Sonos and custom-built by Sonance, these speakers offer natural, room-filling sound with discreet installation.
The Sonos 8" In-Ceiling Speaker features a custom-built, enlarged woofer and high-excursion motor for a smooth midrange, stunning deep bass and a greater listening area. A 30mm tweeter and newly optimized waveguide ensures natural sounding vocals and better high-frequency dispersion, for wide and even coverage that fills the room with sound.
While the 8" In-Ceiling Speaker is bigger in size than the 6″, the aesthetics of the magnetic grille are unchanged, ensuring both models can be used seamlessly together in the same space. The grille for both 8" and 6" sizes are available in white for a discreet match with the widest range of ceilings and, thanks to a specially developed steel grille, can be painted to meet the customization needs of every client.
Even Better When Paired with a Sonos Amp: In combination with Sonos Amp, the Sonos Architectural line provides crisp and clear multi-room audio. When paired with Sonos Amp, these in-ceiling speakers unlock even more benefits including overdrive protection and custom tuning enhancements that ensure a fuller sound and a balanced frequency response. In combination with Sonos Amp the 8" speakers also benefit from Trueplay™ tuning which accounts for the size, construction, and furnishings of the room where the speakers are placed, and automatically adjusts the EQ for optimal sound. A single Sonos Amp powers up to three pairs of Sonos passive speakers.
Sonos App: Curation & Control: Pairing your In-Ceiling speakers with Sonos Amp also gives you access to the Sonos app, which brings all your content and controls together in one place. Play music and manage your Sonos system from any room; control everything with voice commands using Sonos Voice Control, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant.

We also offer these speakers in a 1 Pair System or 2 Pair System with the Sonos Amp.
