About Sonos Amp
The Sonos Amp packs 125 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms (200 Watts at 4 Ohms) to power high-fidelity sound and streaming capability for turntables, TV, architectural, bookshelf, outdoor, and floor-standing speakers. Create the ultimate entertainment system and stream from over 100 services. Control is easy with the Sonos app, AirPlay, the touch interface, or your voice via smart devices like Sonos One. Platform integrations help streamline control of your smart home, so you can control your system with a universal remote or keypad. And because Sonos continually updates with new features and services, your experience will improve over time.
Sonos Multi-Room Eco-System: The Amp is part of the Sonos wireless multi-room music eco-system consisting of a family of wireless network speakers, players, and amplifiers. Start with the Amp and add more Sonos products over time - including the Sonos One SL, One & Five powered speakers, the Sub subwoofer and the Beam & Arc soundbars (all sold separately). HDMI ARC: The Sonos Amp is equipped one HDMI ARC output to connect the integrated amplifier to your TV's HDMI ARC input. The Amp's HDMI ARC output allows audio from your TV to be sent to the integrated amplifier. The HDMI ARC output supports Dolby Digital (up to 5.1 ch) and 2 channel PCM. Audio from your TV can be played back just on the Sonos Amp or in any zone of your Sonos multi-room audio system.
Rear Speakers: Please be aware that this Sonos Paradigm In-Ceiling system can be used as a stand-alone sound system, a system connected to a multi-room Sonos setup or as the rear speakers in a Sonos home theatre system using the Sonos Playbar, Playbase, Arc or Beam Soundbars.

Each model in the Series is designed to be installed neatly into wall or ceiling, fitting virtually flush to the surface. The only visible evidence of each speaker is its slimline grille and frame, which can be painted to blend perfectly with your interior style, or even covered with co-ordinating fabric.
So forget cabinets, forget cables and focus all your attention on the pure aesthetics of your living or work space. While B&W Custom Installation speakers are made to disappear from view, they produce a sound that's anything but shy and retiring. Harnessing the same Bowers & Wilkins technologies found in recording studios around the world, the speakers will fill a room with stunningly lifelike, three-dimensional sound. The result is a series that's near invisible to the eye. But infinitely pleasing to the ear.
The CCM-665 in-ceiling speakers feature a 25mm (1") soft dome tweeter and a 150mm (6") bass/midrange driver with a rigid chassis. The maximum amplifier power output is suggested at 130 Watts per channel which covers the majority of amplifiers and most consumer needs. We would recommend an absolute maximum input of 100 Watts per speaker which is still quite loud but pushing the limits! Installation couldn't be easier with thanks to the QuickDogs™ fixing system - a nifty little B&W invention - and plug-and-play connection. The CCM665's are compatible with 8 Ohms and for their price have an amazing frequency response from 45Hz to 35kHz.
